Figueira da Praça XV

This tree is beautiful from any angle: a century-old fig tree in Praça XV in Florianópolis.

Many legends exist about it, and good stories happened in the shadows of its leaves. My father says that he walked with my mother under the branches of the fig tree while they were dating. He just didn't tell me how many laps around the fig tree he walked... lol.

When you come here in the city, take a walk around the fig tree if you want to return to Floripa. Two turns if you want to find love. But if your dream is to get married, you must walk three times around the tree.
